Bucheon City Helps Foreign Residents and Multi-cultural Families


3% of Bucheon population is foreigners

There are 26,000 foreign residents in Bucheon city. The numbers of multi-cultural families and foreign workers are getting bigger and bigger.


Bucheon City makes programs to help foreign residents

The center, Bucheon Support Center for Multi-Cultural Families, will release a newspaper for foreigners twice a month. And thirty-six foreign supporters who live in Bucheon City successfully will help new comers and connect them to the Support Center.


Foreign residents are already our neighbors

Mansoo Kim, the mayor of Bucheon City, said that “Bucheon City will do its best to help foreign residents and multi-cultural families to settle down here.They are already our neighbors.”
