Korean Comics goes to 40th Angouleme Comics Festival, France

The special exhibition for Korean Comics will be held on Jan. 31st to Feb. 3rd, 2013(local time in France) during the 40th Angouleme International Comics Festival, one of the biggest international comics festivals, in Angouleme, France.

The Angoulême International Comics Festival (French: Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême) is the largest comics festival in Europe, and the second biggest in the world after the Comiket. It has occurred every year since 1974 in Angoulême, France, in the month of January.

The exhibition will show dynamic history of Korean Comics and Korean “webtoons” at the first time to all the people from the world. Webtoon is a new style comics that releases digital comics through the Web. Its name comes from the "Web" and "cartoon".
